Community Cohesion CPD
Are you ready for OFSTED?

Schools have had a duty to promote community cohesion since 2007 and Ofsted have been inspecting the performance of schools in this area since 2008.  It is a critical part of school life but how prominent is it in a school’s plans for professional development? A CPD training session on community cohesion is now available enabling schools to:
  • Understand the legal requirements.
  • Try out activities to use with pupils that develop critical thinking skills and enquiry based learning.
  • How a whole-school cross-curricular project can help you.
  • Developing an action plan to embed the global dimension in to the curriculum.
  • Explore tools for monitoring and evaluating the impact of your work.

Costs: £500 for up to 20 staff with refreshments at our Middlesbrough Centre. Contact Tees Valley One World Centre now for further information or to book a date on 01642 322216 or email towc@towc.org.uk
