Year 7 students at King Edwin School have been looking at Global Poetry.
They have read No Problem by Benjamin Zephaniah which looks at stereotypes.
They have written poems which tackle stereotypes of about young people living in the North East of England.
    The students have also looked at poems by Dennis Brutus from Zimbabwe and Jon Milos, Yugoslavia. All the poems they are using to explore social issues are from the book "Poems from Many Cultures".
